Sex with One's Own Daughter

Obviously, it would be an embarrasement if a man went to bed with his own daughter, raping his conscience. So to do would be to kill his conscience, meaning, such a man is not trustworthy. Also, it would destroy the relation of man and husband, dependent as it is on respect for eachother.

In Leviticus 18 it is not stated, clearly, a sexual relation of man and daughter is forbidden. I says, though, sexual relations are forbidden within the close family. Incest is forbidden. And it is clearly stated:

"Thou shall not uncover the nakedness of thy brother's wife: it is thy brother's nakedness." (18:16) His daughter is she.
